Stewardship: A Faith Journey
Our Church is on a faith journey to make stewardship a way of life. We invite you to join with us on our journey. It will change your life forever.
“As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace” (1 Peter 4:10 NAB)
We are blessed here at St. Mary with a large and very active membership. We have recently initiated a new program…A Call to Stewardship.
Often when we hear the word stewardship our thoughts go first to money. But do not be fooled! Stewardship begins with our time, our talents, and our willingness to share what we have with the community that we love! Stewardship begins with YOU, giving what you can as service to others. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your actions and let yourself be amazed at what you have to offer!
We are confident that our parish family will continue to answer this call not only by continuing in current ministries, but also by becoming active in something new. Since the renewal began in December, over 450 families have returned their stewardship forms. There are many new ministries and opportunities for service on the form this year, and the response has been wonderful. If you have not yet returned your form it’s not too late. Drop it off in the parish office or in the collection basket.

The Stewardship Committee will continue planning for the year using the themes outlined in a mailing that went to all parishioners: Our Time, Our Talent, Our Treasure, Our Faith, Our Family and Our Prayers. Heads of ministries have been asked to come together to receive rosters of interested persons as indicated on the forms you returned. Expect a call from the ministry you expressed interest in!
